Land

View land usage types on LandGate's map. For more detailed information about a specific parcel regarding Land usage, click on a parcel on the map to open up a report.

Government Land

View Government-owned properties on the map. 

• Click the drop down menus in the Federal and State Land categories to select one or multiple property owners to display them on the map

• Check on and off the boxes next to each government land type to display them on the map

Solar

View solar farms, solar irradiance, buildings & parking lots with solar potential, and solar ordinances on the map.

• Check on and off the boxes next to each option to display them on the map

• Hover over each solar farm on the map to view high-level data, or click on it for more details

Wind

View wind farms, wind turbines, FAA obstructions, wind direction, wind speeds, wind ordinances, airspace restrictions, military training routes, and more on the map.

• Check on and off the boxes next to each option to display them on the map

• Hover over each wind farm on the map to view high-level data, or click on it for more details

• Additional filters:

  • FAA Obstructions

    • Filter by status, completion date, and expiration date, then select 'Apply Advanced Filtering'

• Wind Direction

  • Select month of the year or overall average, then select 'Apply Advanced Filtering'

EV Charging

View EV Charging sites, major roads, major exit ramps, Disadvantaged Communities, amenities, buildings, parking lots, and forests/ parks on the map

View battery storage sites across the U.S.

Index/ Risk Based

Apply LandGate's proprietary value and risk index scores to find the highest value or highest risk regions for specific resources

• Value Index Scores (0-100)

  • Select a value index score to view it on the map. Darker green indicates a higher value for the selected resource, and lighter indicates less valuable

  • View the specific value index score for individual properties in the black numbers centered on each parcel

• Risk Index Scores (0-100)

  • Select a risk index score to view it on the map. Darker red indicates a higher risk for the selected hazard, and lighter indicates less risky

  • View the specific risk index score for individual properties in the black numbers centered on each parcel

Electrical Infrastructure

View electrical infrastructure on the map (substations, ATC, AOC, Power Plants, Transmssion lines, Distribution Lines, ISO's, electric planning areas, retail service territories, pricing nodes, and more)

• Check on and off the boxes next to each section to display them on the map

• Hover over each substation, power line, or power plant, and click on it for more information

• Apply advanced filters:

  • Electric substations (ownership, min and/or max voltage, POI ATC, POI AOC)

• • Power Plants (status, min and/or max operating capacity)

• • Transmission lines (operator name)

• • Distribution lines (min and/or max voltage, hosting capacity, interconnected DER, and/or Queued DER)

• • Pricing Nodes (ISO name, ISO hub/zone, min and/or max LMP price, or PNode name)

Data Infrastructure

View data center infrastructure on the map (data centers, fiber optic lines, Internet exchange points, Long haul access points, cell towers, water treatment plants, redundancy power plants, gas offtake locations, oil &gas Wells, LNG export facilities, and more)

• Check on and off the boxes next to each section to display them on the map

• Hover over the icons on the map for more data. You can click on the natural gas pipelines and fiber optic lines for more data

• Apply advanced filters:

  • Data centers (gross power, operator name)

• • Natural gas pipelines (operator name, status, min and/or max pipeline diameter)

Carbon

View high and low value areas for carbon credits on the map. Darker teal indicates a higher estimated value, while lighter teal indicates less valuable.

• View the specific risk index score for individual properties in the black numbers centered on each parcel

Soils

View soil quality classes, prime farmland designations, building suitability sites scores, and/or depth to bedrock on LandGate's map.

• Check on and off the boxes next to each section to display them on the map

Trees

View tree canopies and tree carbon storage estimates on the map, as indicated by the legend.

• Check on and off the boxes next to each section to display them on the map

CCS

View CCS-specific data on the map, like CO2 pipelines, natural gas pipelines, CO2 emitting facilities, wells & basins, carbon injecting wells, state approved wells, upsides, and well directions on the map.

• Hover over each CO2 emitting facility, oil or gas well, or natural gas pipeline on the map to view high-level data, or click for more details

Water

View water-specific data on the map, like Aquifiers, water dams, and water wells.

Oil & Gas

View oil & gas wells, CO2 pipelines, mineral basins and abstracts, and more on the map.
