Search for Parcels & Add to Portfolio
Click on Parcel Search
After searching for parcels, you can add them to an existing portfolio or create a new portfolio
Search for Parcels Based on Key Criteria
Has ownership data
Exclude any parcels without ownership data by checking the box next to 'Has ownership data'
Group Adjacent Parcels by Owner
This setting will help to return a collection of parcels that have the same owner, same state & county, and are very close together
These groupings won't be visible on the map or in your portfolios, but could help to return more parcels with the same ownership in a parcel search.
Predefined Searches
Run a parcel search from Solar, Wind, Listings, and other predefined searches
State(s)
Select a state or states by clicking on the drop down or typing in a state in the drop down bar
Counties
Select a state to choose a county
Select counties by clicking on the drop down or typing in a state in the drop down bar
Acreage
Define min and/or max acreage per parcel
Contains: Option to add Buffer to expand the search area
Intersects: Finds parcels that intersect with Shapefile
Nearby: Define Distance From min/max mi
Electric Grid
Search for parcels in a specific:
ISO
Electric Planning Area
Electric Retail Service Territory
And/Or in Proximity to:
Substations
Transmission lines
Transmission Line Voltage
Distribution Lines
By Segment or Feeder

Once you've defined your filters, Click Search
Add Parcels to Portfolio
After your total results have been returned from a parcel search, click on Save
All parcels are added to the table in the Parcels Data tab and are also identified on the map with the portfolio color fill
Open Portfolio
Open Portfolio: After checking the box selecting your desired single portfolio, click on Open Portfolio.
In this manner you can also Delete and Share Portfolios with other members in your LandGate organization.
Other Ways to Add Parcels to a Portfolio
Select Parcels from the map
While in a portfolio, your cursor will change to parcel selection mode
This functionality gives users the ability to quickly group and add parcels from the map to a portfolio
Zoom in to view parcel ownership
Click on a parcel to add it to a portfolio
Tip: Ctrl + click (hold) allows users to select multiple parcels at once!
The parcel is added to the table under Parcel Data and is also identified on the map with the portfolio color fill
Copy Parcels from an Existing Portfolio
Select the parcels in a portfolio that you want to copy
Click the 'Copy Parcels' button
The parcels will then be copied to a new or existing portfolio.
