The Parcel Search tool allows you to search for properties nationwide in bulk using LandGate®'s advanced search filters. You can perform an unlimited number of parcel searches with your LandGate® subscription, and create an unlimited number of portfolios.
Click on Parcel Search and apply relevant filters (you do not need to apply a filter to each option to perform a parcel search
After searching for parcels, you can add them to an existing portfolio or create a new portfolio
Portfolios allow you to save searches for parcels that fit specific criteria. These portfolios are stored in the Parcel Data tool.
Type in a state you're interested in searching for parcels in, or use the drop down menu to select a state. You can apply multiple states to the search.
You must first select a state to choose a county
Type in a county or select a county using -the drop down menu
Define min and/or max acreage per parcel. For example, if I am searching for parcels between 5 and 10 acres, enter that in the min and max columns.
Group adjacent parcel acreage by owner: Groups adjacent parcels with the same owner name instead of displaying them separately after performing the Parcel Search. These groupings won't be visible on the map or in your portfolios, but could help to return more parcels with the same ownership in a parcel search.
Search by owner or organization first and/or last name
Contains: Search for the words you type in anywhere in the first and/or last owner or organization name
Exact: Only search for exact matches within the first and/or last name that you provide
Filter by parcel zoning
Zoned as: Type in a zone or use the drop down menu to select one or multiple zoning types
Not zones as: Exclude specific zone/s from from the Parcel Search by typing in a zoning type to search, or click to select one or multiple zones using the drop down menu
Run a parcel search from Solar, Wind, LandGate® Leads (Listings), Data Centers, or within proximity of retired parcels, coal parcels, or fossil fuel parcels.
You can apple multiple predefined searches to one Parcel Search by clicking on each one. To remove a predefined search, click on the 'X' on the left of that predefined search.
Ex; Solar Farm: All Farm Parcels - Includes all parcels with any kind of solar farm activity (operating, permitted, etc.)
Apply your custom map layers or Shapefiles from the My Layers tool to the Parcel Search
Contains: Option to add Buffer to expand the search area
Intersects: Finds parcels that intersect with Shapefile
Nearby: Define Distance From min/max mi
Does Not Contain & Does Not Intersect: Remove specific layers from My Layers or Shapefiles from the Parcel Search
Set min and/or max buildable acreages to your Parcel Search.
Apply setbacks (ft) to each additional buildable acreage filter to refine your search (each option is optional)
The results of the Customize Buildable Acreage Filter(s) are only for the viewable map (zoom in or out on the map to begin using this function). Enabling Buildable Acreage will disable and remove the State(s) and County Filters.

Apply LandGate's proprietary Value and Risk Index Scores to your Parcel Search by setting minimum and/or maximum ranges for any of all of the indexes (0-100)
Ex; If you're searching for parcels that LandGate has identified as high-value for Data Centers, set a minimum value index of 60
Once you've defined your filters, Click Search
Save Parcels to a Portfolio
After applying filters to your Parcel Search, you can save the list of parcels to a portfolio, where it will be stored in the Parcel Data tool
After a list of parcels has been returned from a Parcel Search, click Save
Add your parcels to an existing portfolio or create a new portfolio (name your portfolio)
Open Portfolio
Check the box on the left of the portfolio you want to view, then click Open Portfolio.
Using this same process, you can also Delete and Share Portfolios with other members in your organization.
While you have a portfolio selected, your cursor will change to parcel selection mode, as indicated by the cursor icon. Click on parcels on the map to add them to the selected portfolio. If you want to remove a parcel from the portfolio, click on it again.
Zoom in on the map to view ownership & parcel boundaries
Ctrl + Click to select multiple parcels at once
When the parcel has been added to the portfolio, it will show up in the list view of parcels in the Parcel Data tool
You can drag the map view around without adding parcels to the portfolio using the parcels map function, as highlighted in teal on the second image.
Select the parcels in a portfolio that you want to copy
Click the 'Copy Parcels' button
Select the 'Existing' option to find a portfolio, or create a new portfolio, then click 'Save'
